Delta National Exhibition opens Thursday
The opening reception for the Delta National Small Prints Exhibition will be Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Bradbury Gallery of Fowler Center. This year's exhibition begins the show's second decade with 52 prints by 48 artists. The juror was Judith Hecker of The Museum of Modern Art in New York.  Click on NewsPage to read more about the artists, their work, and the selection process.

Alumni events will highlight Homecoming Week
Homecoming Week is underway, with activities for alumni focused on this weekend. All alumni and friends are invited to attend the Alumni Association tailgate party, which is sponsored by AT&T. After the game, the Alumni Association will host its annual 5th Quarter party at the Holiday Inn. For details, click on Homecoming.

College of Communications plans Alumni Seminar
The College of Communications has called upon radio-television alumnus Chuck Maulden of St. Louis to present its 11th annual Alumni Seminar on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the ASU-TV studio, as part of Homecoming.  Maulden is director of photography and news operations at KSDK-TV, the NBC affiliate in St. Louis. Nursing & Health Professions alumni to be honored
The College of Nursing and Health Professions will present its 2006 Distinguished Alumni awards Saturday to Melissa Burrow of Jonesboro, Robin Tripod Patten of Paragould, and Dr. David L. Smalley of Cordova, Tenn. As part of Homecoming, the college will hold an open house Saturday at 4 p.m. in Room 200 of the CNHP building, with all alumni and friends invited. Giving to Torchbearers can be a prize-winning decision!
In addition to the satisfaction of supporting your favorite program or activity at ASU, those faculty and staff who give to ASU through Torchbearers are eligible to win lots of very nice prizes, donated by merchants and institutions in our community. Reception is Tuesday for new director of ASU Museum
All faculty and staff are invited to help welcome Dr. Marti Allen, new director of the ASU Museum, at a drop-in reception Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 3 until 4:30 p.m. in the second floor lobby of the Museum. Click here for more details.

Lecture-Concert Series to present Richard Cox
Richard Cox wrote the book on helping people deal with performance anxiety, better known as stage fright. While he frequently helps musicians, his lecture will be helpful to anyone who speaks or performs in public.  The Lecture-Concert Series and the Department of Music will sponsor his appearance at ASU Tuesday evening.  Click on NewsPage for details.
