October 11, 2006 - The Department of Music at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro will present the ASU Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble in concert on Monday, Oct. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the Fowler Center, Riceland Hall. Admission is free.

The ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Ed Owen, assistant professor of music.

The program for the evening will include Fantasy by Ralph Martino, Locus Iste by Anton Bruckner, Fantasia on Dies Irae by William Hill, Dance No.1 by Kenyon Wilson, Grand Slam by Lennie Niehaus, as well as some traditional Oktoberfest music.

Members of the ensemble include David Barrentine and Matt Watson of Walnut Ridge, Corey Emerson of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Jennifer Hall of Tyronza, John Hoskins of Paragould, Tim Long and Lonnie Simmons of Jonesboro, David Owens of Manila, Ryan Riley of El Dorado, Jason Tacker of Wynne, and Daniel Van Aalsburg of Highland.
