Blue Monday this evening in
Paragould
KASU presents Olga
tonight at 7 p.m. for Blue Monday-Paragould at Brittny’s Steakhouse,
downtown. Hailing from San Francisco of Austrian parentage, Olga
is among the vanguard of new blues artists combining innovation with
a deep sense of roots. Olga received classical training in
voice, piano, and violin at a young age with her friend's guitar and
the help of Jimi Hendrix. Soon thereafter, blues kidnapped her mind
and soul. Olga now calls Memphis and New Orleans her homes.
Admission to the Blue Monday-Paragould concert featuring Olga
is free thanks to sponsors Bank of Paragould, Child Art Studio, Joe
Holifield – Attorney at Law and KASU, but seating is limited.
