Board of Trustees to meet Dec. 7 at ASU-Heber Springs
The ASU Board of Trustees
will meet Friday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m., in the Entergy Room, room 124 of the
Student Services and Administration building on the ASU-Heber
Springs campus. The dedication of the ASU-Heber Springs campus will
be held at noon following the board meeting. For more information,

Music Dept.
to present Madrigal Feaste
The Department of Music and
the royal court of King Henry the Eighth invite all to the ninth
annual Madrigal Feaste. To be held in the Grand Hall, Fowler Center,
the feaste beckons, providing costumes, comedy,
decorations, and fanfare. The feaste will be held Thursday-Saturday,
Nov. 29-Dec. 1, at 6:30 p.m. and is the largest fundraising event of
the year for the ASU choral ensembles. For details and ticket

Blue Monday concert series continues
today
As part of KASU's
Blue Monday concert series celebrating the blues, the New Joe
Lee Combo will perform from 7-9 p.m. at Brittny's Steakhouse, 120
North Pruett Street, in Paragould. Admission is free, but seating is
limited. KASU's Blue Monday concerts are held on the first Monday of
the month in Jonesboro at Sheffield's and on the third Monday of the

Freshwater mussel conservation
is focus of radio show
The
Department of Biological
Sciences at ASU is committed to communicating the relevance of
its research to the public, to research sponsors and collaborators,
and to industrial partners. The department broadcasts a weekly radio
show, "Science in the Natural State," narrated by Betsy Huss and
produced by the department and KASU. This week's edition,
#91, "Freshwater Mussels," features Kentaro Inoue, a graduate
student in the department as the interviewee. "Science in the
Natural State" airs at 4:44 p.m. today and every Monday on KASU 91.9 FM.
Who's Who award ceremony and
reception slated
The annual "Who's Who Among
Students in American Universities and Colleges" award ceremony
and reception will be Monday, Nov. 26. The reception will begin at 6
p.m. in the Heritage Plaza Lounge in the Student Union, followed by
the award presentation ceremony in the auditorium at
6:30 p.m. Who's Who Among Students is one of the most highly
regarded and long-standing honors programs in the nation. Selections
are made each fall by individual schools. A campus nominating
committee, which includes faculty, administration, and students,
selects the upperclassmen and graduate students for the award. "Who's Who" award winners
have histories of individual achievement through diverse service to
their communities and schools and these award winners enhance the positive image of
American youth.
Inside ASU takes hiatus until
after Fall Break
Today's edition of Inside ASU
will be the first and final one for this week; there will be no
editions on Wednesday, Nov. 21, or Friday, Nov. 23. Inside ASU will
resume thrice-weekly publication after Fall Break. Have a memorable
