Center
to assist students with 'college business'
The Office
of Financial Aid and Scholarships has organized a new Call Center,
designed to bolster enrollment by providing a more
service-oriented approach to help students and parents who can't always
make a trip to campus to take care of business. The long-range
goal is to answer questions concerning admission to the
university, financial aid and scholarships, and payment arrangements. The
Call Center will also attempt to answer questions unrelated to
scholarships or financial aid with a goal not to unnecessarily transfer
the student or parent to various offices on campus. The Call Center is
also designed to assist current students with information on many
topics such as dates for student loan disbursements, application
deadlines for privately-funded scholarships, and work-study eligibility
questions.
