Dr. Jones coauthors
article in international online journal
Dr. Craig Jones, Psychology and Counseling, and Dr. John
R. Slate, Sam Houston State University, authored the article
“Online Courses, Instructional Quality, and Economics: A
Conceptual Analysis.” The article was recently published in
Volume 4, Number 3 (July - September 2009) of the online journal International Journal of
Educational Leadership Preparation (IJELP). The authors discuss
the development of online courses in higher education in terms of
instructional quality and economic costs. In their conceptual
analysis, the authors point out problems in developing online
courses with sufficient quality, due to limited funds being made
available for online course development.
