Oct. 27, 2005 -- Arkansas State University in Jonesboro will host its second Preview Day for the year, Tuesday, Nov. 1, for all high school students interested in enrolling at ASU. 

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. in Fowler Center and will continue until 3 p.m. 

Preview Day is the perfect opportunity for high school seniors to see ASU first hand and experience the campus atmosphere by interacting with currently enrolled students as well as faculty and staff. 

Students and their family members will have the opportunity to ask questions about majors and degrees during the academic expo and learn more about campus life and activities in the student life expo, while enjoying lots of free food and entertainment. In addition, plenty of time will be given for high school seniors to explore the campus and view the residence halls.

“ASU is excited to show off the campus, our programs and activities to area high school seniors and their families from around the region. We know that Preview Day will provide the students with a glimpse of campus life at ASU,” said Gregory Thornburg, dean of enrollment services. 

To register for ASU Preview Day, contact the Office of Admissions at 870-972-3024 or online at http://admissions.astate.edu.  Preview Day check-in will be from 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at Fowler Center, 201 Olympic Drive. 

There is no cost for students or their families to attend Preview Day and lunch will be provided.

Other Preview Days are scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006; and Thursday, March 30, 2006.
