College of Agriculture honors
outstanding graduating students

May 9, 2006 -- The most outstanding graduates of the College of Agriculture at Arkansas State University were recently recognized at the college’s annual honors banquet during Convocation of Scholars, according to Dr. Greg Phillips, dean of the College of Agriculture.

The outstanding graduate awards were presented to the senior in each degree program who has excelled in scholarship, leadership and service to the respective departments.

Those receiving awards were:

Benjamin Erick Nobles of Poplar Bluff, Mo., BSA, agricultural business (emphasis in agricultural marketing and management);
Aaron R. Archer of Paragould, BSA, agricultural education;
Lindsay Thomison of Smithville, BSA, animal science; science); and
Kimberly Renee’ Lee of Fontaine, BSA, plant science (emphasis in crop production and protection). # # #

Localizing information for hometown news media: Aaron R. Archer’s parents are Eugene and Kathy Archer of Paragould. Benjamin Erick Nobles’s parents are Rick and Lynda Nobles of Poplar Bluff, Mo. Lindsay Thomison’s parents are John and Rita Thomison of Smithville. Kimberly Renee Lee’s mother is Sue Simpson of Bono.
