Sept. 22, 2005 -- Arkansas State University in Jonesboro will host an all majors job fair and a graduate school exposition for all current students Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Convocation Center, 217 Olympic Drive.

The “ASU All Majors Job Fair” is the largest of its kind in the Mid-South, attracting more than 100 recruiting organizations and 1,000 students each year. The fair gives students an opportunity to meet and talk with professionals about career opportunities, internships, part-time employment, or graduate schools. 

The job fair is free for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Industries such as business, government, manufacturing, agriculture, communications, broadcasting, retail, health care, K-12 schools, graduate schools, financial services, human services, engineering, insurance, accounting firms, and technology will be represented.  

Students who attend are encouraged to wear business professional attire and bring résumés to give to possible employers. Career Services, located in room 303 of the Chickasaw Building, provides assistance with résumé writing and interviewing skills.

Organizations across the area are encouraged to attend the event in order to meet with prospective employees or students.
