Women in Science to host workshop
March 5 for 5th & 6th grade girls

Feb. 16, 2005--The Women in Science chapter at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro will hold “Women in Technology and Science Workshop Day” on Saturday, March 5, for 5^th and 6^th grade girls to explore careers focused in science and mathematics.

The workshop will be held in the Laboratory Sciences building, 117 South Caraway Rd., on the ASU campus from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Registration begins at 8 a.m. for those who are not pre-registered. Pre-registration is available on-line at http://clt.astate.edu/WomenInScience/2005WITS.asp

Girls are asked to bring a sack lunch; a variety of snacks and drinks will be provided. There is a $5 fee for the workshop.
