Campaign Incentives – At the end of the campaign a drawing will be held for the following items:

Each community has a core group of caring and dedicated people who work to make Northeast Arkansas a better place to live. By giving to the United Way, you can join this special group of people. The attached brochure will provide information about the 2006 United Way campaign.

You will notice that the United Way of Greater Jonesboro has changed its name to United Way of Northeast Arkansas. The change better reflects what they have been doing for years…serving 8 counties throughout Northeast Arkansas. This year the United Way has also created Community Investment Teams for each of the 8 counties they serve. The Community Investment Teams will be responsible for fund-raising within their community. They decide how the money will be raised and how it will be distributed within their county, which means more local control.

Please join me and other employees as ASU strives to make our part of the world a better place to live by supporting the United Way. All it takes is a few minutes to complete the contribution page of the brochure. You can give a one-time gift by cash, check or credit card or you can give all year by enrolling in payroll deduction. The United Way can also bill you for your gift. If you choose to enroll in payroll deduction please keep in mind when computing your contribution, that there are 24 pay periods in a calendar year. Payroll deductions will begin January of 2007. Giving has never been easier!

Once you have decided the amount you would like to contribute and your method of payment, simply sign your name under the label on the contribution page of the brochure, detach the page, place it and your contribution (if paying by cash, check or credit card) into an envelope and return the envelope to Jill Bristow in University Advancement, Room 104, Administration Building, on or before October 30, 2006.
