Map of Twin Towers implosion perimeter, locations for media and public viewing

May 22, 2008 -- Below is a map detailing the safety zone perimeter (green line) for the Twin Towers controlled implosion, slated for Sunday, May 25, at 7 a.m.  All media representatives must display media passes, available from Gina Bowman, University Communications, at ((870) 972-2250 or by cell at (870) 243-6020. These passes may be picked up Thursday or Friday in Administration Building, Room 102, or at the Media Information Tent (adjacent to the Command Center) the day of the event.

The safety perimeter will be clearly marked and manned, and street blockades will be in place as indicated. All members of the media and the public should be aware that they must be outside the perimeter NO LATER THAN 6:15 A.M. Sunday morning. Public viewing will be permitted only from the location indicated, north of the Arkansas Biosciences Institute building, and public parking will be available southeast of the public viewing site. The public viewing area will be open to pedestrian traffic only.
