All-Alumni tailgate at Cooper Alumni Center set for Oct. 2

September 20, 2010 -- The Arkansas State University Alumni Association has announced plans for ASU's Centennial Homecoming 2010 which will be on Saturday, Oct. 2. As part of the celebration, they will host an All-Alumni tailgate party at the Cooper Alumni Center before the Homecoming football game. The free tailgate party will be from 4-5:30 p.m., and is open to all alumni and friends of the university.

The tailgate party will include live music by the popular local band the Brewers, plus complimentary tailgate food from Wings-to-Go. The event is free of charge thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Clopton Clinic of Jonesboro.

In addition, there will be also be a special event in conjunction with the tailgate party. Following the overwhelming success of last year's Model T rally at the Cooper Alumni Center, this Homecoming will feature the Crowley's Ridge Cruisers classic car club displaying vintage autos from around the region on the lawn of the Alumni Center from 3:30 to 5 p.m. It's free and open to everyone who loves the great classic cars from our past.

The Cooper Alumni Center is located at 2600 Alumni Boulevard, directly north of the Convocation Center and west of ASU Stadium.
