ASU-Jonesboro to host
summer
academic camps

Arkansas State
University campus will be hosting several academic camps this summer.
The ASU Museum will have a series of Discovery Classes. "Earthquakes,
Volcanoes and Tornadoes" will be held June 4-8 from 9 a.m. until noon;
"My Memory DVD" will be held June 4-8 from 1-4 p.m.; Photography will be
held June 18-22 from 9 a.m. until noon; and Ceramic Class will be held
July 11-15 from 9 a.m. until noon.
These programs are for students 8-13 years old. The cost of each is
$85, which includes all supplies. ASU Museum members and faculty and
staff members receive a $15 discount. For more information on Discovery

The Department of Music will be hosting two summer academic camps. Choir
Camp will be held June 24-28 for junior and senior high. The cost is
$275 to stay on-campus or $175 for off-campus campers, with a discount
given to all-region or all-state choir members. Summer Piano Festival
will be held July 16-18 for grades 1-6 and July 23-25 for grades
7-12. The cost is $150. For questions regarding either camp being held

The College of Nursing and Health Professions will host Health
Professions Day Camp June 18-22. The camp is for students entering 9th
and 10th grades and cost $50. Call 972-3112 for more
information.
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is presenting CSI:
Forensics Science Camp for students entering 10th, 11th,
and 12th grades. There will be two sessions; June 18-22 and
June 25-29. The camp is an overnight program and will cost $300. For

Horse Camp will be offered by the College of Agriculture June 24-27. The
overnight camp is for children ages 10-16. The cost is $250. For more
