Summer Commencement set for Friday, Aug. 3

July 31, 2007 -- Arkansas State University in Jonesboro will hold summer commencement Friday, Aug. 3, at 7 p.m. in the Convocation Center.

The student speaker will be Kendall Carroll, who is graduating summa cum laude with a BS in radiologic sciences.

Dr. Robert L. Potts, chancellor of ASU-Jonesboro, will present the various diplomas. There are approximately 360 candidates for both graduate and undergraduate degrees.

A reception for all graduates, their guests, and faculty and staff will be held on the north mezzanine following each of the commencement ceremonies.
