Student Union extends hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays

July 2, 2007 -- The Arkansas State University Student Union will extend its hours beginning the second week of July, as a service to students and their families.

Effective Monday, July 9, the following offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursdays: Admissions, Financial Aid, Residence Life, Career Services, Disability Services, Counseling Center, Testing Center, Registrar, Student Account Services and the Bookstore.

The new hours will be in effect through the remainder of the summer.  They will be evaluated for continuation after the fall semester begins.

“Extending the student union hours will better serve our students,” said Dr. Rick Stripling, vice chancellor for student affairs.  “These extra hours will provide students more time to visit our offices.”
