College of Business to hold annual
Spring Swing golf tournament

April 17, 2007 -- The Arkansas State University College of Business will hold its annual Spring Swing golf tournament on Friday, April 27, at Sage Meadows Golf Course.

The four-person scramble tournament, co-sponsored by the College of Business Alumni Chapter and the Delta Center for Economic Development, is a fundraiser for the ASU College of Business Foundation.

The registration cost is $100 per golfer. Outback Steakhouse will provide lunch at 11 a.m., and the shotgun start is scheduled for 12:15 p.m.    

Prizes will be awarded for the following categories: first and second place for lowest scramble team score (in two flights), men's and women's longest drives, and closest to the pin. Also, hitting a hole-in-one on hole number seven could win a lucky golfer $15,000.

Corporate sponsors for Spring Swing 2007 are Burrow Halsey Realty Group, Inc., Barton’s, Nestle, Regions Bank, Ritter Communications, Staffmark, Surgical Hospital of Jonesboro and Tiger Correctional Services. Several additional businesses and institutions are providing tee-box and green side sponsorships.
