ASU-Jonesboro campus to close at 3 p.m. today

Jan. 7, 2010 -- Arkansas State University’s Jonesboro campus will close at 3 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 7, due to an expected severe drop in temperature and icy road conditions.

However, the Convocation Center, 217 Olympic Drive, will remain open, and the scheduled men’s basketball game between ASU’s Red Wolves and Middle Tennessee State will be played. Tipoff for the Sun Belt Conference game is 7:05 p.m.

University officials urge extreme caution while driving or walking.
