Financial Aid & Scholarships announces
dramatic improvements to 2 scholarships

March 3, 2005--The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro announces a significant improvement to two institutional scholarships that will cover fees, beginning this fall 2005 for all incoming Arkansas high school seniors.

The Chancellor’s Scholarship now includes fees (up to 15 credit hours per semester) plus the current benefits of tuition, a double occupancy room and a $250 stipend per semester toward textbooks. The Dean’s Scholarship also now includes fees for up to 15 credit hours per semester along with the current benefit of tuition.

The current value of fees for 15 hours is $520 or a yearly total of $1,120.

Applications for both the Chancellor’s Scholarship and the Dean’s Scholarship are still being accepted as funds are still available. ASU will continue to accept applications for both scholarships as well as the Academic Merit Award until all funds have been awarded.
