ASU SBTDC to offer small business website workshop Sept. 7

August 30, 2010 -- The Arkansas State University Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC), Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Jonesboro Association will host a workshop on E-Commerce, Tuesday, September 7, in the ASU Delta Center for Economic Development, Room 110, 319 University Loop West on the ASU campus from 1-4 p.m.

The seminar, “Website Strategy and Planning,” will be conducted by Joe and Christi Wharton, Wharton Website Design and Marketing, and will help attendees explore the strategies, techniques, technologies and best practices needed to create an efficient, effective business marketing tool. 

“Whether you are planning to create your own website or hire someone to do it for you, you need to know some key fundamentals,” said Herb Lawrence, ASU SBTDC Center Director. 

Attendees will also learn how to include social media marketing efforts such as Facebook, Twitter, and blogs into their website for synergy.
