Small Business and Technology
Development Center to host advertising and promotion seminar
June 3, 2010
--
The Arkansas State University Small Business and Technology Development
Center along with the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce and
Downtown Jonesboro Association will offer a special workshop on
“Advertising and Promotion,” Thursday, June 10, from 1-4 p.m., in Room
103 at the ASU Delta Center for Economic Development, 319 University
Loop West, Jonesboro.
Experienced marketing professionals with KAIT-TV, KAIT Internet, The
Jonesboro Sun, Lamar Outdoor Advertising, Jonesboro Radio Group,
SuddenLink and Master Print Group will lead a panel discussion
describing how small businesses can use marketing channels to help
locate customers.
“Finding the right communications channels to get your marketing message
across to your particular target markets is critical today,” said Herb
Lawrence, ASU SBTDC Center Director. “We are very fortunate to have a
diverse panel of local marketers who will share their insights into
developing marketing campaigns and how their particular media can help a
small business grow.”
Following the panel discussion, attendees will have an opportunity to
meet individually with the panelists to discuss their business and to
network with other participants. This interaction session will run from
4-5 p.m. in Room 106.
The seminar is free of charge; however, registration is required.
Seating is limited to 75 attendees. For more information or to
register, contact the Arkansas State University Small Business and
Technology Development Center at (870) 972-3517, e-mail asusbtdc@astate.edu,
