The College of Nursing and Health Professions at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro is hosting the "Power of Hope Celebration" in coordination with several local organizations and churches in Jonesboro that are planning similar events.

ASU's Power of Hope Celebration will be Tuesday, Sept. 26, from 2-3 p.m. in the Student Union Auditorium. The event will include invited speakers Angie Schmidt, Nursing, and Troy Vincent, Counseling, as well as great music from the Department of Music.

The event is celebratory, as each of the speakers has overcome life's obstacles and benefited from the power of hope. Everyone is invited.
