Nov. 9, 2006 - The Department of Music at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro will present the ASU Percussion Ensemble in concert on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Fowler Center, Riceland Hall. The ASU Percussion Ensemble is under the direction of Mr. Craig Collison. Musical selections include "Sacrificial Rite" by David Gillingham, "Head Talk" by Mark Ford, "Stompin’ Grounds" by Bela Fleck/arr. John Hearnes with Corey Emerson on bass guitar, and "Hummingbird" by Steve Rush. Members of the ASU Percussion Ensemble include Corey Emerson, Alysa Fenner, Katey Cravens, Curtis Farley, Janet Haner all of Jonesboro, Gabrien Brown of Newport, Seth Gaskill and Perry Harper, both of Paragould, Chris Knight of Sherwood, and Adam Weiss of Pocahontas.
