with ADDY Awards

The Office of
Publications and Creative
Services at Arkansas State University was honored with several ADDY
during the recent awards banquet of the Northeast Arkansas Advertising
“Howl” magazine, a publication targeting prospective students, received
a bronze ADDY in the print division. The Red Wolf logo, introduced in
March of 2008, received a gold ADDY, and the University Advancement Case
Statement, chronicling the history of and future plans for ASU, was
awarded a gold ADDY. The case statement also received the “Best of Show”
award for the print division.
Although many of the projects in Publications and Creative Services are
collaborative efforts achieved by the entire staff, the lead artists on
the award-winning projects are as follows: “Howl” Magazine, graphic
designer, Mary Williams; Red Wolf logo, director of publications, Mark
Reeves; Case Statement, graphic designer,
Heath Kelly. Dr. Nancy Hendricks, director of Alumni Communications,
and Diana Monroe, director of Development Communications, served as

Rice provided many of the photographs.
