June 1, 2006 -- The student Model UN organization at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro will conduct a Model United Nations Summer Camp for incoming freshmen through seniors, Wednesday, June 14, through Saturday, June 17, on campus.

The camp will provide the basics of Model UN rules, procedures and practice -- everything needed to become a full-fledged diplomat and participant in future model UN competitions.

The camp will bring together student leaders from all over the south and the Mid-west region who share a desire to deepen their understanding of the United Nations and enhance their leadership skills.

The cost is $150, which will include staying in one of the residence halls and all meals in the new Student Union, plus insurance and a T-shirt.
