Middle East Studies Night to feature
food tasting and grant announcements

Feb. 2, 2007 -- Middle East Studies Night, including food tasting of Middle East delights, will be held Monday, Feb. 5, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Grand Hall of Fowler Center.

The event is sponsored by the ASU Middle East Studies Committee (MESC) and is open to the public.


The agenda includes food tasting at 6:30 p.m. followed by presentations by students and faculty who visited the Middle East in the last year on grants provided by MESC.

The program concludes with announcements of the upcoming year's grants.

The menu includes babaganoush with pita chips, stuffed grape leaves with yogurt sauce, hummus, tabouli, Mediterranean feta salad, chicken and lamb kabobs, baklava, and Arabic tea.
