Regional mathematics contest
set for Saturday, March 8, at ASU

UPDATE: Due to inclement weather, this event will be re-scheduled. Contest organizers will contact registered schools with information.

March 3, 2008 --  The Arkansas Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ACTM) will sponsor the Regional High School Mathematics Contest at Arkansas State University, Saturday, March 8.

Exams will be given in the subjects of Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus.

Registration will be from 9-9:50 a.m. in the lobby of the Computer Science and Math Building. Exams will be given from 10-11 a.m., and award ceremonies will follow at noon.

The top three winners in each exam from each region will have an automatic invitation to the state contest, which will be Saturday, April 26.
