Homecoming events announced
for weekend of Oct. 22

Oct. 10, 2005 -- Arkansas State University in Jonesboro announces the final plans for Homecoming 2005 the weekend of Oct. 22 surrounding the game against Florida Atlantic at 6 p.m. in Indian Stadium.

The Alumni Association is hosting its annual 5th Quarter Party at the Holiday Inn Holidome, on South Caraway Rd. in Jonesboro from 9 p.m. until midnight featuring the music of the Hoggard Brothers.

At 4 p.m. prior to the football game, the ASU Alumni Association is hosting a Tailgate Party on the west side of Indian Stadium. “Chippy Kazoo” the clown will provide entertainment for the kids. The Tailgate Party is sponsored by SBC.

At half-time, the Distinguished Alumni Awards will be presented along with the announcement of the Homecoming Court and the President’s Cup awards.
Distinguished Alumni honorees for this year are Buddy Beck of Fairfax Station, Va., Bobby Caldwell of Wynne and Bill Phillips of Conway.
