Heritage Studies Ph.D program presents Civil Rights Movement, panel discussion Jan.
21, 2005--The Heritage Studies Ph.D. Program at Arkansas State University
in Jonesboro will present the “The Legacy of the Civil Rights Movement:
A Panel Discussion” on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium
of the Convocation Center on the ASU campus. The
program will include the following panelists: Minnijean
Brown Trickey -- Mary Gay
Shipley Writing Fellowship Dr.
C. Calvin Smith -- Presidential
Distinguished Professor of Heritage Studies, ASU Dr.
George Grant, dean
of the Dean B. Ellis Library at ASU Following a welcome and introductions by Dr. Clyde A. Milner II, Heritage Studies Ph.D. Program Director, panel discussions will include all the speakers.
