Below
you will find a link to a PDF version of the 2005-06 edition of the
Faculty Resource Guide, which
is produced by my office. Please take a moment to review your entries for
accuracy and completeness.
You
will need to look at 2 places in the document:
-
Faculty resource topics, organized by academic department, starting on
Page 1. (Page numbers for the various academic departments are listed
near the bottom of this message.)
-
Directory of full-time faculty and selected administrative staff,
starting on Page 43. (Listings are in alpha order by last name.)

If no change is needed:
A
response is not required.
If changes are needed:
If
your entries need to be updated, please forward a note with additions
and/or deletions listed to
tmoore@astate.edu OR print the page, note the changes, and fax to
972-3069 or send by campus mail to Admin Room 102. Changes will be
reflected in the final version, which we will begin producing around Sept.
1.
Even
if you miss that deadline, send changes anyway…we can incorporate them
into the next edition. As with any product of this kind, keeping
information current and accurate is an ongoing process.
What is this?
So,
you may be asking, "what is the purpose of this guide?" Here's some
information reproduced from the intro page that explains briefly how the
guide is distributed and used:
This
guide was developed primarily to assist news media personnel with
identifying authoritative sources for news and feature articles. The
resource topic listings are helpful for determining which faculty members
can provide information for local and regional news stories, as well as
perspectives on national and international developments. We also provide
the guide, on request, to civic clubs who consult the guide for programs.
Resource topics are grouped by academic department, and alphabetized
within the department by subject. Each faculty member=s
departmental telephone number is listed.
