March 21, 2007 -- On Sunday, April 1, at 3 p.m., the Fowler Center Series presents the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra in concert. Back by popular demand, the ASO returns for a concert of classical favorites under the baton of Music Director David Itkin.

The repertoire planned for this concert includes Beethoven’s ever-popular “Egmont Overture,” “The Swan of Tuonela,” a beautiful, lesser-known work by Sibelius, Smetana’s glorious tone poem “The Moldau,” and will conclude with one of the masterpieces of the romantic era, Tchaikovsky’s “Symphony No. 4.”

Individual tickets to the ASO performance are $30 and $20 for adults; $23 and $15 for students and senior citizens; and $10 and $6 for ASU students.
