Sept. 5, 2006 -- Explorations in Renaissance Culture, a biannual publication of the South-Central Renaissance Conference, has moved its editorial office to Arkansas State University. Beginning with the recently published Summer 2006 issue, the journal will be jointly published by the Conference, which is a regional affiliate of the Renaissance Society of America, and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Department of English and Philosophy at ASU.
The Summer 2006 issue contains articles on the poetry of Edmund Spenser and a special section devoted to the concept of intentionality. Among the authors represented in the issue are scholars from Baylor University, University of Kentucky, Texas A&M University, and the University of Texas. Joy Mills Holmes served as editorial assistant for the issue which was printed by the Department of Printing at ASU. Membership in the South-Central Renaissance Conference, which includes a subscription to the publication, costs $20 per year.
