College of Engineering
recognizes top graduating students

April 30, 2007 -- Four students in the College of Engineering at Arkansas State University were recognized at a Convocation of Scholars honors ceremony as the college’s most outstanding graduates, according to Dr. Rick Clifft, associate dean of the college.

Awards are presented annually to the top graduating senior in each of the college’s degree programs and professional concentrations.

The award recipients were:

Shakhrukh Ismonov of Starkville, Miss., engineering (mechanical engineering concentration);

Matthew Lemay of Little Rock, engineering (electrical engineering concentration);

Shelby A. Richey of Powhatan, engineering (civil engineering concentration); and

Travis Anthony DeClerk of Pocahontas, technology (technology management concentration).
