Department of Music
to present Trombone Choir Concert
Oct.
23, 2007 -- On Monday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 p.m., Arkansas State University
will present the Trombone Choir, under the direction of Dr. Neale Bartee,
in Riceland Hall, Fowler Center, 201 Olympic Drive, Jonesboro.
The Trombone Choir will be performing “Exsultate Justi” by Lodovico
Viadana, arranged by Richard Myers; “Where'er You Walk” by George
Frideric Handel from “Semele,” arranged by Walter Beeler; “Presto” by
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, arranged by
Jean Thilde; “How Firm a Foundation” arranged by Neale Bartee; “Suite
for 4 Trombones” by Flor Peeters; “Blueberry Hill” by Lewis/Rose/Stock,
arranged by Tutti Camarata; “What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?”
by Michel Legrand, arranged by Jay Henry; and “Hey, Jude” by
Lennon/McCartney, arranged by Neale Bartee. “Never Can Say Goodbye,” and
“Don't Get Around Much Anymore” arranged by Tom Senff, will be performed
by Dad’s Bones.
Personnel for the ASU Trombone Choir include Brandon Avant of West
Memphis, Jason Payne of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Kade Holliday of Jonesboro,
Jeremy Ramsey of Brinkley, Blake Howerton of Paragould, Corey Spencer of
Wynne, Kyle Manley of Paragould, Braxton Washington of Little Rock,
Jonathan McAlister of Marion, Jay Shepherd of Paragould on guitar,
Treavor Mitchell of Westside, Kevin Cremeens of Westside on bass, Sam
Osborn of Paragould, and Jason Wagner of Westside on drums.
This concert is free and open to the public.
