April 18, 2007 --  On Monday, April 30, from 9:20 a.m.-12 p.m., Lt. Col. Dave Grossman of the Killology Research Group will present “Lessons from Jonesboro, Littleton, and Vietnam: How Kids Are Learning to Kill and Learning to Like It.” Grossman’s lecture is presented as part of the Arkansas Association of Professors of Educational Administration’s annual conference. The lecture will take place in the Arkansas State University Student Center Auditorium, located on the third floor of the Student Center. The free event is open to the public and the faculty, staff, and students of ASU.

Col. Grossman is one of the world’s leading experts on the causes of violent crime. From 1 p.m.-2 p.m., the conference will host Dr. Tom Kimbrell, AAEA executive director, and District 20 State Rep. Johnnie Roebuck of Arkadelphia, speaking on “K-12 Legislation: The 2007 Legislative Session.” This presentation is also free and open to the public.
