Dr. Neale Bartee to conduct Concert Orchestra April 16

April 6, 2007 -- The Department of Music at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro will present the ASU Concert Orchestra in concert under the direction of Dr. Neal Bartee, on Monday, April 16, 7:30 p.m., in Riceland Hall, Fowler Center.

The concert will include Symphony No. 2 in B Minor by Alexander Borodin, Symphony No. 2, “Romantic” by Howard Hanson, Symphony in D Minor by Cesar Franck, “Dance of the Tumblers” from “The Snow Maiden” by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, “Au Fond du Temple Saint” from “The Pearl Fishers” by Georges Bizet, “Dance of the Hours” from “La Gioconda” by Amilcare Ponchielli, “Prayer” by Ernest Bloch, and “Star Trek Through the Years,” arranged by Calvin Custer.
