Aug. 3, 2006 -- Arkansas State University in Jonesboro will hold its summer commencement ceremony Friday, Aug. 4, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Convocation Center.

Dr. Les Wyatt, president of ASU, will present the various diplomas. The Registrar’s Office has listed 363 students as candidates for degrees at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Of that number, 7 are for doctoral degrees, 91 are for graduate degrees, and 265 are for undergraduate degrees.

Following the commencement ceremony, a reception for all graduates, their guests, and faculty and staff will be held on the north mezzanine.
