College of Business to host annual scholarship fundraiser

October 14, 2009 -- Tickets are still available for the Arkansas State University College of Business “Business, Blue Jeans, and Barbeque,” Saturday, Oct. 17. The annual College of Business scholarship fundraiser, previously known as the Scholarship Gala, will begin at 3 p.m. at the Cooper Alumni Center, 2600 Alumni Blvd., on the ASU campus.

The Outstanding Business Executive of the Year will be announced and recognized at the event.

In addition to a barbeque meal, drinks, and s’mores, there will be a silent auction, including merchandise packages. Activities include bounce houses and obstacle courses for kids, NCAA football on television, a live band, and “Boogie Heads” green screen fun.
