Alleged sexual assault on ASU campus under investigation

Feb. 27, 2010 -- On Saturday, Feb. 27, at approximately 3:45 a.m., a sexual assault was reported to University Police on the ASU campus in Jonesboro.  This incident occurred at 1002 University Loop East during an event held at a fraternity house. The suspects were described by the victim as two African-American males. 

Notices have been posted in university residence halls, the Student Union and other locations encouraging students to remain alert to their surroundings and to use caution when attending events, especially at night.

The University Police Department is investigating. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to report it to the campus police immediately at 870-972-2093.
