College of Agriculture to conduct
annual Student Leadership Conference

The 14th Annual ASU College of Agriculture Student Leadership Conference will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, at the ASU Convocation Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The conference is designed to help new and returning student leaders prepare for activities in their student organizations and to provide them some basic leadership skills that will help them throughout life.     

This year’s conference presenter is Jay Pitman of the University of Arkansas Extension Program.

Kyle Sanders, an Agricultural Education graduate of ASU and past state president of the Arkansas Association of Career and Technical Education, will be the luncheon speaker.    

The Conference is co-sponsored by the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce Agribusiness Committee, AgHeritage Farm Credit Services, the Craighead County Farm Bureau, Midsouth Farm Credit Services, and Burrow-Halsey Real Estate Group Inc.
