Oct. 28, 2008 -- ASU Theatre announces the cast for its second production of the year, “The Rimers of Eldritch” by Lanford Wilson. “The Rimers of Eldritch” will be"The Rimers of Eldritch" is ASU Theatre's second production of the 2008-09 season, and it opens Friday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m., in Fowler Center. performed Friday-Saturday, Nov. 14-15 and Tuesday-Wednesday, Nov. 18-19 at 7:30 p.m. at Fowler Center, 201 Olympic Drive, Jonesboro. A “meet the company” dessert reception will follow the November 14 opening night performance.

The drama asks, “Who is this man, who murdered him, and what were the circumstances?” To solve the tragic mystery, Lanford Wilson looks at the outside and the inside of a tiny Midwestern town. A New York Times review speaks of the play’s “fluidity, for its language, for its almost musical sense of pattern.”
