Museum's 'Mystery of the Mayan Medallion' closes June 14
June, 3 2009 --
“The
Mystery of the Mayan Medallion,” an
interactive exhibition currently at the Arkansas State University
Museum, ends Sunday, June 14. The exhibit, presented by the Arkansas
Discovery Network which is funded by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation,
is free and open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m.-4
p.m., and Saturday through Sunday, 1-5 p.m.
In
this exhibit, viewers are transported to Palenque, Mexico, where an
archaeological team has mysteriously disappeared from a dig site while
investigating rumors of a priceless jade medallion buried in the ruins.
Parents and children can follow the clues the
team left behind to locate the precious medallion and the warning signs
to avoid the same fate. For additional details, see the earlier
NewsPage release.

information, call Lenore Shoults, assistant director, the ASU Museum, at
