ASU Museum's 'Mystery of the Mayan Medallion' closes June 14

June, 3 2009 -- The Mystery of the Mayan Medallion,” an interactive exhibition currently at the Arkansas State UniveA modern Mayan family explores heritage and history as they view "The Mystery of the Mayan Medallion" at the ASU Museum through Sunday, June 14. rsity Museum, ends Sunday, June 14. The exhibit, presented by the Arkansas Discovery Network which is funded by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, is free and open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday, 1-5 p.m.

In this exhibit, viewers are transported to Palenque, Mexico, where an archaeological team has mysteriously disappeared from a dig site while investigating rumors of a priceless jade medallion buried in the ruins. Parents and children can follow the clues the team left behind to locate the precious medallion and the warning signs to avoid the same fate.
