"Welcome
Wednesdays" Nov.
18, 2004--Arkansas
State University in Jonesboro has implemented "Welcome
Wednesdays" as a new enrollment program for incoming students who
will be starting in the 2005 spring semester. The
Office of Enrollment Services has established the Chickasaw Welcome Center
in the Chickasaw Building, 106 N. Caraway, which will have staff members
from the Registrar's Office, Admissions, and Financial Aid/Scholarships
available on the Wednesdays of Nov. 24, Dec. 8 and 15 to assist students
and their families in answering questions about ASU. Students
will also be given advising time with faculty from Wilson Advising
Services and the Freshmen Studies Program. The
hours are 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. and students are welcome to drop in at any
time. |
