Arkansas Soil and Water Conference
to be held at ASU on Jan. 13, 2005

Dec. 15, 2004--The Arkansas Soil and Water Education Conference will be held Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005, at the Convocation Center on the campus of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.

U.S. Congressman Marion Berry will be the featured speaker for the luncheon. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the fee is $15. Sessions will be held all day, beginning at 8:45 a.m. Pre-registration is required by Monday, Jan. 6, and forms may be obtained by calling 870-972-2043 or online at http://agri.astate.edu/.

This conference is supported by a grant from the East Arkansas RC&D, Travis Boyd, coordinator; and Leroy Dangeau, president. It is held in cooperation with ASU, the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture, USDA National Resource Conservation Service, and the northeast Arkansas Conservation Districts.

The program committee includes Tina Gray Teague, Burr Swann, Alec Farmer, Wayne Wiggins, David Fowlkes, Travis Boyd, Bill Humphrey, Richard Grippo and Jason Stewart.
