Percussion Ensemble
to perform The
Department of Music at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro will present
the
Percussion Ensemble on Monday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m. in Fowler Center
Riceland Hall. The
concert will include “Variations
on a Ghanaian Theme” by Daniel Levitan; “African Wind” by
Eckhard Kopetzki; “Teamwork” by Lynn Glassock; “City
Soca” by Arthur Lipner, arranged by Mark Ford; and “No
Exit” by Lynn Glassock. Members
of the Percussion Ensemble include: Cheyenne Shepard, Ben White, Maria
Calamita and Katey Cravens, all of Jonesboro; Alex Anderson of Marion,
Janet Haner of Trumann, Perry Harper of Paragould, Russell Niemyer of
Prescott and Richard Penn of Benton. The
concert is free and open to the public. For more information please
