ASU Alumni Association to 
host several Homecoming events

Arkansas State University in Jonesboro announces the final plan of events slated for Homecoming 2004 on the weekend of Oct. 16.

The ASU Alumni Association is hosting their annual 5^th Quarter Party at the Holiday Inn Holidome, on South Caraway Rd. in Jonesboro from 9 p.m. until midnight featuring DJ Jason Pedigo and singer/songwriter Barrett Baber.

At 4 p.m. prior to the football game, the ASU Alumni Association is hosting a Tailgate Party on the West side of Indian Stadium. At 5:40 p.m., the Homecoming Pre-game Ceremonies will begin in the stadium. At 6 p.m., the ASU Indians will match up against Troy State for the Homecoming football game.

At half-time, the Distinguished Alumni Awards will be presented along with the announcement of the Homecoming Court.

Distinguished Alumni honorees for this year are Stephen W. Edwards of Marianna, Kathy Brittain White of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Charles L. Rasberry and Dr. C. Calvin Smith of Jonesboro.
