ASU - Jonesboro:  College planning event
Thursday; financial aid info also available

Arkansas State University will host a Craighead County College Planning Program on Thursday, Oct. 28.  The program will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the South Mezzanine (use Red Entrance) of the Convocation Center.

Representatives from two and four year colleges and universities in Arkansas as well as some from surrounding states will be available to answer questions from prospective students and parents about their institutions.  The event is sponsored by the Arkansas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (ArkACRAO).

Prior to that event, staff from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education and the ASU Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will present an informative session about what types of financial aid are available for funding a student’s college education and how to apply for such aid. The financial aid session will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Convocation Center. 

Both events are free and open to college-bound students of all ages, and their families.
