Arkansas State University Childhood Services and the Arkansas Department of Human Services Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education will host the annual Arkansas School-Age Care Conference Friday and Saturday, Jan. 10 and 11, at the Arkansas 4-H Center in Little Rock.

"Creating Connections" is the theme for this year’s conference. Conference speakers include Tracey Ballas, Steve Nawojczyk and V.P. Parker.

Ballas is an education and training associate for the National Institute on "Out-of-School Time" at the Wellesely College Center for Research on Women. Nawojczyk is a juvenile services coordinator for the North Little Rock mayor’s office, and Parker serves as director of the Charles Bussey Child Development Center and is owner of V.P.
