Communiversity Series to present
comedian Gordy Pratt, April 3

The "Original Fabulous One Guy," Gordy Pratt, is the final performance artist in Arkansas State University's Communiversity Series this spring. He will perform Thursday, April 3, at 7:30 p.m. in Riceland Hall at Fowler Center, 201 Olympic Drive.

Gordy Pratt is a fast-paced, one-man musical comedy show combining 35 years of performing experience with a humorous outlook on life that makes everybody laugh. He does more than 150 shows a year, and has appeared on ABC's 'Good Morning America' to perform one of his own compositions. He has played large venues, opening for Kenny Chesney, Glen Campbell, Michael Martin Murphy, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Williams and Ree and others.

The Communiversity Series is a program of the Reng Student Services Center, bringing outstanding diverse artists to ASU and the Jonesboro community. It was created for students, faculty, staff and the community to broaden their experiences with arts of every kind. When the new Reng Student Services Center is completed, the Communiversity Series will be a mainstay of the events offered in the facility.

The Heartland Arts Fund, a collaborative venture of Arts Midwest, Mid-America Arts Alliance, their member state arts agencies (Arkansas) with primary funding from the National Endowment for the Arts and support from private contributors, partially supports the series. For more information, please contact Labeth Nall, 870-972-2056.
