The Arkansas State University Alumni Association plans to go “Travelin’ with the Tribe” to Memphis, Tenn., on Saturday, Sept. 27, as the Tribe takes on the University of Memphis.

The ASU Alumni Association will sponsor a tailgate before the game, along with the assistance of four alumni from the Greater Memphis area, including Scott Dawson, Bob Earwood, Jerry Mooney and Lanier Robison. The tailgate will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot at the corner of Milton and Hollywood, near Walgreen's. Parking in the lot is available on a first come, first serve basis for $5. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

Corky’s BBQ is on the menu for the tailgate and the cost is just $5 per person or $15 for a family of four for Association members. Non-members pay $7 per person or $25 for a family of four. The Greater Memphis Chapter of the ASU Alumni Association will sell drinks for $1 to raise money to benefit their scholarship fund. Football game tickets also allow free admission to the Mid-South Fair following the game.
